About Dorans
From sea to shore, Dorans has been a family-run business on the West Pier in Howth since 1961. Founded by Michael Doran and carried forward by his son Sean, the business has built its reputation on quality, freshness, and a deep connection to Howth’s fishing heritage.
Today, Sean continues to keep that tradition alive, serving generations of customers with carefully selected seafood, expert knowledge, and the warm welcome that has made Dorans part of fishing and the harbour community for over 65 years.

Tues-Sat Delivery
We have two refrigerated delivery vans packed early each morning full of your orders, taking them directly to your door. We deliver to the greater Dublin area and other locations in Ireland on request for volume orders.
Delivery within 24h
Howth is a working fishing harbour, and when a catch is landed, we get the best stock on offer from local fishermen. Our lobster and crab are caught by native Howth fishermen just 10 minutes from the coast!

Storing your fish
We have been immersed in the fishing and seafood industry since 1961 and want to bring you the freshest fish possible. We advise that you consume your fish within three days of purchase. Keep it at its best by storing it in the coldest area of your refrigerator, removing plastic bags and placing it in a sealed container with crushed ice if available. Read more below.
